MARCH AND APRIL, 2003:
Wow! So much has happened in the past two months! At the beginning of March, I learned how to pull myself to a standing position, and soon afterwards, I was walking along holding on to the furniture. (The baby books call this 'cruising.')
I went on a plane for the first time in March! Pictures of that adventure are on their own separate page. I also went to a playground, took a trip to New York City so that Mama and Daddy to go to Ellen's wedding, and, at the very end of April, got my hair cut for the first time! (I can't give you many details about this last one, because I was asleep at the time.)
Of course, we were also up to our usual round of crazy exploits: we were visited by Nana and Grampa, Gramma and Grampa, all sorts of Hayes cousins, Dave and Ab, and Frank and Jodi, and we went to Boston a couple times, where we visited Dorian and Kate, Kathryn, and Paul and Sarah. Just locally, I played with Will, along with his daddy and mama Mark and Bernadette. Easter was a beautiful day we spent at Gramma and Grampa's in East Hartland.

Don't think that all this activity kept me from learning new skills. Besides the cruising, I learned how to wave and make a kissy face, plus I'm now quite the little dancer. Put some music on and I'll show you!

Nana, Duckie and I relaxing in our hotel room.	Eli's mama Jeanne went to college with Mama and they were in New York for the wedding too.	Mama and Daddy at the wedding. They clean up pretty nice, I think!	I played with Daniel and Seth at Hayes Game Day at our house.
My book starts out "ABCD". If you've already read it, please don't spoil the surprise by telling me how it ends.	I get comfortable while waiting for Mama to bring my lunch.	In my jaunty hat, I was the talk of the playground!	It was my first time on a swingset, and I did great!
Here're Will and I. As you can see, we are quite the little swingers!	Maybe if Mama and Daddy did laundry a little more often, I wouldn't find the basket so very exciting!	I tried to fix Leah up with the friendly and charming Mr. Tags...	...but she decided to stick with Cris instead. He's very nice, but does he make funny squeaking sounds like Mr. Tags? Oh, he does? Well, then.
Kevin loaned me a great big die to play with. It's a toy you're supposed to throw! I love it!	"My Big Book of Alphabet" is a classic I enjoy again and again.	Who's the happiest stander-upper in the house? I am!	Waiting for Daddy to get home...
Got milk? I do! Thank you, Mama!	Enjoying a beautiful spring day! And then...	Good grief! Snow again? You've gotta be kidding me!	I was framed, I tell ya!
Here I show off all eight of my teeth!	No-body knows de troubles I seen...	Our trip to Boston featured a quick stopover to see that exersaucy fellow, Braedon.	Then it was off to see soon-to-be-parents Paul and Sarah. In this photo, I've just told Paul how often I wake up at night.
Just in time for Easter, here's my very first photo with rabbit ears.	Sarah followed me home; can I keep her?	Is this cafe open for business or are these things just for decoration?	Me and Paul are two cool dudes. It's true! Ask anybody!
Gramma and Grampa finally got back from Florida. They're tanner than I remember!	Turns out I'm way better at catching when Grampa helps me!	I shared my toys with Gramma. Well, most of them...	Here's the photo I'm sending to MTV Cribs to see if they'll have me on the show.
Dave learns that the way to my heart is through the Cheerios bowl.	They're like a toy... that you can eat! And my cholesterol is extremely low.	Abigail taught me how to make this Please May I Have A Pony? face.	Dave, Abigail and I played Small, Medium & Large. Ab was excited to get to be Medium for once!
It was such a nice day, we decided to hike up the Sleeping Giant.	We paused for a photo op halfway up the mountain.	They wanted to sit when we got to the top. What wusses! I felt fresh as a daisy!	This picture is like Where's Waldo, only with Mirin instead. Where's Mirin? Hey, there I am!
Daddy and I enjoying the breeze at the top of the tower.	Check this out -- from the tower, I could see a teeny tiny city. I'd be a giant there!	And then it was time to head out. I'll lead the way! I'm Sacajawea!	I liked church very much. There were flowers, there was singing... if they had had kitties there, my day would have been complete.
Busted!	After church, Gramma let me play the organ for a while. I'm a natural!	Happy Easter, Gramma!	I tried out the minister's fancy chair. I could use one of these at home!
We're a pretty nice-looking bunch, huh?	Okay, I tried to be a good sport, but I think I've worn these silly shoes just about long enough.	Hey, more pictures! First with Mama...	...and then with Daddy. Gosh, it's bright out here.
I practice my majorette routine with the daffodil Grampa gave me.	Alf is my favorite kind of kitty... easy to catch!	Call me Goldilocks, because this little chair is just right!	Grampa and Daddy arrange for a meeting of the minds.
Mama decided to try taking some artsy pictures with me. I liked it because I got to be naked!	All the really talented xylophone artists play in the nude.	It's for you!	Wouldn't this be artier if we took Teddy's bow off?
I think I look rather elegant in this shot, if I do say so myself!	Arty aerial photography!	I taught Frank how to do the happy dance and now he's a boogyin' fool!	Look how pretty! I think it's finally spring! Of course, now that I've said that, it'll probably snow again.
Here's me before my haircut. Cute, but a little shaggy.	Me after. Love that new sportier do! I look like Mia Farrow!	A big kiss to all my loyal fans!
