NOVEMBER & DECEMBER, 2004:
Our Thanksgiving was extra-special this year, since we got to see Great Grampa Scassellati in Jessup as well as Blabla's daughter Megan in Bethlehem. We sure are related to some nice people!
Because our December wasn't really busy enough, Mama and Daddy decided to have Rowan's baptism then too. It was held at the First Parish of Bolton and performed by our good friend Reverend Richard Jones, whose previous credentials include performing Mama and Daddy's wedding ceremony as well as Mirin's baptism. Dave & Ab were delighted to sign on as godparents and went above and beyond the call of duty by hosting a great post-baptism brunch.
And then it was Christmas! It was the best!

A brand-new friend of ours, David Crispin, arrived just before New Year's and we celebrated the end of 2004 with a get-together at our friends' the Laubachs. See you next year!

Somewhere out there, there's a baby with no cheeks at all, because I took twice my fair share.	Laura's and my favorite game is Sleepover Party.	You can't go wrong with a story from Daddy! It's a hit every time!	Vroom vroom!
Pay attention, little buddy: You see this hat? Once the snowman puts it on his head, he begins to dance around!	A pre-Thanksgiving visit with Grampa Scassellati finds us all smiles!	More happy Scassellati faces in Jessup, PA.	I love you too, Daddy!
If you're a longtime reader of this website, you'll already be familiar with this shirt and our annual Thanksgiving tradition.	Sadly, the shirt didn't work its magic this year, and the Phillipsburg H.S. Stateliners turned in a non-winning -- and, alas, non-scoring -- performance.	Three ardent fans.	Yay, team!
It really is attached to your face! Fascinating!	Megan and I have a perfect holiday! I'm hanging out with a pretty girl and I'm not wearing any pants!	Oh, please. Like you haven't done it yourself.	Why, yes, I did get a new package of barrettes. Why do you ask?
Rowan had a doctor's visit and I got a lollipop! Is this a great country or WHAT?	I help Mama choose the fabric for Rowan's baptism quilt.	Then I help make the quiche for the baptism brunch. What would she do without me?!	Now it's time for the baptism itself. Here we are back at the Bolton Federated Church.

Oh no! The embarrassment of Nap Hair!	Why am I always asleep in photos? I don't actually nap all that often. I think they take my picture every single time I sleep!	Did someone say party? Time for the Newcomers' annual kids' bash. Sign me up!	As it was last year, the cookie decorating activity proves to be very popular with me.
Mama helps me make a beautiful bead-and-jingle-bell necklace.	I was a bit leery at first, but then I realized it's fun to sit on Santa's lap!	Let's go choose our Christmas tree! Daddy and I among the pines.	I'm a right jolly old elf! Mama and I enjoying the tree-selecting excursion.

When we got to Bethlehem, the stockings had been hung by the chimney with care!	Nana's table is all set for Christmas. Let the visions of sugarplums begin!	PopPop and I are ready for Christmas!	Christmas! My first holiday present ever!
Everybody wants to get in on the act!	Hey, it's a... well, I'm not sure. But it scoots around and makes funny sounds, so I love it!	Time for some more presents!	My very first game ever!
Daddy got a present, too! We'll help! We'll help!	It's Christmas! Bottoms up!	What could it be? It's wrapped in paper, so really, who cares?	My first game of Candy Land. I play a variant on the traditional rules in which the object of the game is to get the little gumdrop guy at all costs.

It was really really cold and windy, but I still posed with Grampa Jimmy in his firefighting gear.	I gotta get me an outfit like this!	I wanted to pose, too, but it was a little too cold for me.	On to Stephen and Nancy's for our third Christmas dinner. Good thing the straps on my carseat are adjustable!

I'm all played out! Stephen and Nancy kindly let me use their bed.	...and Becca let me sleep with this little tiger.	Sam makes me smile.	Cool! Guess which of these presents is for me?
Stanley and Dorothy welcome me with open laps and tasty thumbs!	In my pajamas and ready for the trip home.	Surprise! We get home and awake the next morning to find...	...Santa had been there! Mama tells me which pile of presents is mine.
Let's try out the new beads!!	Let's try out the new sled!	And then we see the piece-de-resistance -- a kitchen and a box of toy food and plates! -- and everything else is forgotten.	New Year's Eve is spent with the Laubachs. Matty, Will and I enjoy some peanut butter kiss cookies!
I can't have peanut butter or chocolate kisses yet, but I stay awake till midnight and get the real thing -- a new year's kiss from my girlfriend Bernadette!	Uh-oh! Here comes Mark! See you next year!
