By now, you've probably heard the exciting news... I'm going to be a big sister! This new baby is allegedly arriving right around my second birthday. But, like me, I'm sure s/he'll show up when the time is right, not when the calendar indicates. Stay tuned for an exciting announcement next summer!
These past couple months have been busy ones. I helped Mama and Daddy do some work around our house and yard, including a major new paint job in our living room. Look for us on HGTV sometime soon!
We spent Thanksgiving at Nana and Grampa's, and again, Mama and Daddy accompanied Grampa to the big Thankgiving football game. In case the sports coverage near you is inadequate, I can inform you that Grampa's team, the Phillipsburg High School Stateliners, was again victorious, just as they were last year.

And then Christmastime was upon us! As always, we celebrated all over the place, as many times as possible. My vocabulary continues to increase, including holiday-oriented words like star, angel and snow. I am nothing if not topical!

Hello? Am I going to get any help here, or are you guys going to drink daquiris while I do all the yardwork?	Another quality job well done!	Time to paint our living room! Don't be fooled by these pictures... we didn't really do the whole thing all in one day!	A little tape for the walls, a little tape for me!
Here's our living room right around the time when Mama and Daddy started to think the color was really really bright.	Here's Mama drawing lines on the wall, which I would like to point out that I am not allowed to do.	This is the point when Daddy started getting a little nutty with the tape.	I think it's coming out pretty cool!
The three of us relax in front of our finished paintjob. Nice work, everybody!	Time for Thanksgiving! Nana argued that she wanted to do lots of cooking, but that I fell asleep on her, so she couldn't.	No, actually Nana made us a delicious dinner. But we still managed to go out to the buffet for brunch two days later. Oink, oink!	My appetite is as good as ever, and now I know how to use a fork! I'm a tool-using monkey!
Another fun visit with two of my favorite people!	Woohoo! Snow a-plenty!	Don't laugh... it's harder to walk in this stuff than you'd think!	Time for the Newcomers' Christmas party! They have cookies for us to decorate!
Hey, these aren't decorations! This is candy! I know where this goes!	Mama tries to horn in on my candy deal. Back off, Mama!	I was a little bit nervous about sitting on Santa's lap, so Daddy and Mama came with me.	We left the party and headed out to get a tree. I liked these little ones... just my size!
We settled on this one. It was really snowing hard by then, which I thought was hilarious.	Daddy and I enjoying the winter wonderland.	And then Mama and I pose with the tree.	On Christmas Eve morning, we were visited by Rich & Margaret and their handsome little son, Eric.
Nana and Grampa came with us to church on Christmas Eve and then we posed for this picture.	Grampa says he doesn't have any presents for me, but I know he's just kidding around.	Two Christmas angels!	Daddy pauses for our annual reading. No mice were stirring in our house, either!
And then it was Christmas morning! Oh boy!	Opening my first present. It's a phone of my own!	Santa brought a special present for Grampa.	Checking out one of Daddy's new toys.
When I bite into a York Peppermint Pattie, I get the sensation I'm sledding in the living room. Whee!	On to Jessup for Christmas with the Scassellatis!	Great Grampa gives me a Christmastime snuggle.	Johnny Tiger and I enjoying our time with Great Grampa.
Relaxing with my aunt and uncle.	Four generations of Scassellatis!	And then we were on to Nana & Grampa's house. I'm starving! It's been at least an hour since my last meal!	Time to work off some of those Christmas cookies during Calisthenics With Nana!
Oh, please. Like you don't have any crazy drunken Canadian Christmas photos sitting around somewhere.	Christmas smoochies for everyone!	Uncle Chris visits so I can help him build a tower.	Somerville Family Christmastime again! I open my present from Braedon. (It was a Sit 'n' Spin! Thank you, Braedon!)
Arwen helps Braedon open his gift from Hannah. Ha! Like he couldn't make it through the paper -- and the shrinkwrap and the present -- all by himself!	Having received brand new toys, Breila and Braedon decide to play with -- of course -- the wrapping paper. Who wouldn't?	Here's me complimenting Breila on her fuzzy slippers.	Sarah helps me read my new Fish Eyes book. If you like fish, or eyes, or poking your finger into little holes, I highly recommend this compelling work.
The evening wears on, but Breila still looks pretty as a picture.	"...When a poor man came in sight, gath'ring winter fyoo-OOO-ell...." Abigail helps me keep time as we sing carols.	Hooray! Nice job, tenors! The rest of you... a little sloppy. No, really, I loved the singing!	The day after SFC, us kids hang out on the couch. We refuse to nap!
All so tired, but no sleep in sight! Breila makes a break for it, while Braedon becomes a tad giddy. Meanwhile...	...Hannah and I glaze over and retreat to the comfort of oral gratification.	What's that, Santa? Time for our annual photo in front of the tree?	Hey, my name is on this ornament! Does my agent know about this?
Oh, all the SFC kids have one? Cool!	Christmas makes me smily!	Here's Mama's favorite picture. It's good to be me!	Peekaboo! I'll see you next month!
